Contact Special Touch To Get Assessed
A knowledgeable care representative will guide you through the process. We’ll arrange a nurse to visit your home, determine if you are eligible and the number of hours you will receive.

Choose Your Caregiver
The CDPAP program allows you to hire the caregiver of your choice. This can be a child, relative, or even a trusted friend. Caregivers must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the United States. Click here to get started.

CDPAP Caregivers Are Paid Well For Their One-of-a-Kind Care
Since CDPAP is Care Directed by the Consumer – Compensation packages vary on the preference of the Consumer and their CDPAP Caregiver(s).
However, typical compensation packages include:

Tasks That Caregivers Can Perform
CDPAP personal assistants can perform the same care that a home health aide or home attendant can perform. They are also able to provide certain “skilled” care activities that would otherwise need to be performed by a Nurse. Some tasks include:
- Tracheostomy care, including suctioning
- Oxygen administration
- Medication administration
- Diabetes treatment
- Help with daily activities (such as managing bills, medications, intimate tasks, and doctors’ appointments.)
