How much does Special Touch Home Care pay CDPAP caregivers?
As a Lead Fiscal Intermediary, we understand that when a caregiver is well compensated, they feel more appreciated and provide better care.
Our caregivers have several compensation packages to choose from, because what may be ideal for one caregiver may not be the perfect package for another. Regardless of the option selected, the hourly pay rate is typically at least 6% greater than our competitors. Other benefits include:
- Paid time off: For every hour you work, you accrue time off. There is no cap on how much paid time off you can accrue – some caregivers have saved over 5 months!
- Commuter benefit card: This benefit is extremely flexible. It can be used for subways, ferries, buses, Uber pool, and even parking costs. And, because it’s funded by pre-tax contributions, it makes your money go further.
- Retirement benefits: Our 401A plan helps you save for your retirement, so you’ll be financially secure both now and in the future.
Do caregivers need a special license or certification to care for a loved one?
No. There are no certifications required. You can get started right away.
